It is hard to believe that a year ago today I was sitting in the hospital with my father after he had a couple of strokes. Now, a year later, he has made a full recovery and is doing well (knock on wood). I was really starting to dread all of the family stuff coming up the next couple of days, but that thought crossed my mind and suddenly I find myself very grateful that I have a family to spend the holidays with.

So I will spend the next few days with my family, especially my dad, and my wife and unborn child. I will, no matter how annoyed I get (such gatherings tend to make me a little crazy as I spend most of my free time alone and really have no idea how to appropriately interact with people anymore), do my best to appreciate the time with them.

My wife and I just had this discussion. First off I have to say, WOW!

I know video games have become popular with men, but some definitely take it too far. This is one of those cases. If your man would rather play a video game then get a blow job, you MUST dump his ass. Dump him for you and for men everywhere who are given a bad name because of asshats like this. This man, or shall I say ‘boy’ most likely has fantasies of little furry medieval creatures fucking him in the ass while his friends watch. I have never been so tired in my life.

In addition to my regular work world, which has been particularly hellish lately for no apparent reason (well, there is reason apparent to me), I am now teaching three nights a week (each class is the three hour kind), starting a new band and trying to figure out just what the hell goes into having a baby (which will be here in Jan). I can barely talk from all of the talking and I can hardly hold my eyes open. This really sucks.

On the bright side, I am looking forward to the band thing. I have toyed with doing it for years, but actually have some people around who are interested.

Oh, yeah, I also gave up soft drinks and artificial sugars since I have convinced myself that I am going to die of some form of artificial sweetener induced cancer. That is, after I get the fucking swine flu. And my cat is still dying of some ridiculous stomach/liver cancer.

Does anyone know a good therapist? Just kidding. Those people don’t know what the fuck they are doing.
